What is Bindi?

 There are many subtopics that surround the tradition of Bindi. Though people have many different reasons as to why they celebrate or participate in the tradition of Bindi, its origins and meanings remain the same. Within Hinduism and its beginnings, there was something created known as the Vedas. The Vedas discussed areas known as chakras. One of these chakras is known as "the third eye." This "third eye" is where bindi is placed, typically as a red dot in the middle of the brows.
